Doing Hard Things, Gently

Doing Hard Things, Gently

Doing hard things, gently is the tagline of The Daily Rest Studio, but what does it actually mean?

Of course, and as always, there is no one answer. Doing hard things gently is about walking the space between challenge and ease. Having the courage to do what scares you, and the courage to stop, to let go and to take a break when that is all your body is calling for.

To do hard things gently, we must first learn how to pause. How to rest, to fill up on stillness and become comfortable with the in-between. We must learn how to listen to the quiet inner voice of sensation rather than the noise of the outside world.

Throughout the next three months we will move through what it actually looks, and feels like to do hard things, gently, with practices, workshops and guidance to support you every step of the way.
